All three sets of main entry doors on the east side (front) of the Cathedral underwent repair and refinishing due to natural weathering, wear and tear, in addition to occurrences of vandalism. New hardware installation has also been added to enable electronic access control, a new feature on which Cathedral staff placed a high priority. Restoration of the exterior doors facing Selby and Dayton Avenues will be next.
