Season’s Greetings!

We have Vic Campbell to thank for this photo, taken after the first snowfall last month. Thank you for sharing it.

5th Annual Christmas Together with Steven C

Tomorrow/Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 7:30 p.m.
Cathedral of Saint Paul
Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Featuring R&B vocalist Patty Peterson, St. Cecilia and St. Gregory Cathedral Choristers led by Jayne Windnagel, and Cathedral organists Lawrence Lawyer and Chris Ganza.

It’s a gift to the community from the pianist/composer Steven C and well worth extending the effort to get there for this one hour concert. Freewill offerings accepted.

Outdoor Creche set up

The time lapse video makes the project, led by Jack Gruntner, look a little easier than it actually was, but it also demonstrates the adage, “many hands make light work.”

New Cathedral Museum Exhibit:

Immigrants and the Cathedral: You were a stranger and you welcomed me.

On November 17, the CHF along with the parish, hosted a reception for the Cathedral’s co-parish, St. Vincent de Paul, to see the new museum exhibit and take tours of the Shrines of Nations. The history of the Hmong Catholic community is a special feature.

The CHF awarded a grant to University of St. Thomas graduate student, Marilyn Burnett, to curate this exhibit. It was very well done and we appreciate her professional work in sharing this important chapter in the Cathedral’s history.

Here’s a video recap of the event.

We look forward to hosting more community events in 2020! If you are looking for an opportunity for charitable year-end giving, please consider giving to the CHF by mailing checks to our administrator listed below.
