In 2025, the Cathedral Heritage Foundation focused its efforts on new ways to tell the Cathedral’s story and support it as a venue for extraordinary music. It hosted a transcendent concert in April, welcoming legendary British conductor Sir James MacMillan in partnership with Philip Brunelle’s VocalEssence, and choirs from church congregations across our cities, including the Cathedral’s own choir and schola. On a more somber note, musicians, choirs, and singers from almost every Twin Cities performing arts organization joined their talents in November for an inspiring, heartfelt concert at the Cathedral to benefit Annunciation Parish and the students at Annunciation school.
