This fall, we launched our new multi-language tour on the Tour Patron mobile app—the same one used at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York. Now, visitors from around the world can explore the Cathedral’s stories in their own language—seven languages in all, from English to French, Spanish, Hmong—all spoken by native speakers from those communities. You can stop by the tour/security desk to purchase a pass for just $10—a portion of the proceeds will be used by CHF to support its restoration work for the Cathedral. Each chapter relates one aspect of Cathedral history, art, and architecture. Although each chapter has its own appeal, Chapter 5 highlights the new art in the Baptistry, and Chapter 11 presents Music Director Chris Ganza as he brings the Cathedral’s majestic organs to life.
For a special experience, visitors can join a VIP Tour on Sundays for $35, the proceeds of which also support CHF’s mission. Visitors who participate in this tour will enjoy choir gallery views and the experience the Sacristy, which is generally not open to the public. Details are on our Tours page.
