Organist Vincent Dubois will present a solo concert on the Great Cathedral Pipe Organs. M. Dubois is one of three titulaire organists at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, France, and is one of the finest concert organists in the world today.

His program will include works of J.S. Bach, César Franck, Camille Saint-Saens, and Maurice Duruflé. He will conclude the program with an improvisation. The art of improvisation is an integral part of liturgical music at Notre-Dame, and Vincent is a renowned improviser.

The event is sponsored by the Cathedral Heritage Foundation. A freewill offering for the organ maintenance fund will be accepted.

The Great Cathedral Pipe Organs includes two organs, an E.M. Skinner Organ, and Æolian-Skinner Organ, which underwent a complete restoration and expansion between 2010-2013 by Quimby Pipe Organs, Inc. The two organs now have a combined 94 ranks for a total of 5,848 pipes, ranging in size from over 32′ in length, to as small as a ballpoint pen.
