Dear Friends of the Cathedral Heritage Foundation,
Fr. John Ubel announced his new assignment to the Cathedral parish during weekend Masses on April 13-14. And we like how he rolled out the news in a letter to the parish. Here’s an excerpt:
“I am pleased to share that beginning July 1, 2024, I will serve as pastor of The Church of St. Agnes, a parish that boasts a thriving K-12 school. Thus my lifetime relationship with the city of Saint Paul will continue for the foreseeable future!
“In turn, I am simply thrilled that the Archbishop has appointed Fr. Joseph Johnson, current pastor of Holy Family Catholic Church in St. Louis Park, to be the next Rector and Pastor effective July 1. We will both be returning to familiar territory!
