Dear Friends of the Cathedral Heritage Foundation,
Our Cathedral Christmas Market & Concerts opens Thursday for the three-day event: Dec. 12, 13 & 14. And we expect to be out there having more fun than we thought possible on a brisk, winter day.
We have a full market with 22 vendors selling their handcrafted wares from chocolate delicacies and maple syrup, to hand-carved wooden creches, hand-knit scarves & sweaters, and even the Typewriting Poets will be there with their manual typewriters ready to write you a Christmas message for someone you love. Father Ryan Glaser, the Cathedral’s Parochial Vicar, will also be in the market offering Advent Blessings on Friday, 5-6:30 p.m., and Saturday, noon-1:30 p.m..
And then, prepare yourself for the harmonies in the 8th “Christmas Together” concert with Steven C & Friends. Every year, this performance lifts spirits, throws a few surprises, gets us laughing, and has everyone smiling at their neighbors by the end, no matter what kind of frazzled state you may have been in when you entered the grand space of the Cathedral.
We can’t wait to see you! Buy your tickets now and you’ll get routed to the fast lane! Cathedral doors open at 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and at 10 a.m. Saturday. And don’t forget BINGO in the warming tent on Saturday from 1-3:30 p.m. BINGO is cash only. All proceeds go toward the Cathedral’s restoration needs.
