(Saint Paul, MN) World-renowned organist and composer Jean-Baptiste Robin will perform a concert on the historic, newly refurbished pipe organs at the Cathedral of Saint Paul at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014. Robin, organist at the Royal Chapel in the Palace of Versailles, is the fifth and final organist to perform as part of the 2014 Inaugural Year of Organ Concerts. This celebratory concert series marks the completion of the $3.4 million restoration of the E. M. Skinner and Æolian-Skinner pipe organs by Quimby Pipe Organs of Missouri, which drew support from 800 individual donors. The Cathedral of Saint Paul is located at 239 Selby Avenue, at the corner of Summit Avenue in Saint Paul, Minn. Free parking is available in the Cathedral parking lots and the surrounding area.
